With this in mind the design was not enough alone and introducing compelling product/category descriptions and call to actions enabled us to give customers that may not be computer savvy the best experience possible. The designs were tied into the framework and with clean, simple and effective navigation allowed Qualtex to reach higher conversion rates.

Working long side the team at JD Williams, Freeform came on-board as an external service with an arsenal of of skills in user interface, flash (actionscript) and video integration. One of the most exciting task that JD’s presented was to provide a brief for an outfit builder. This was built using flash and would allow the user to choose from a wide selection of clothing to preview on the model. This was displayed in a video format were the user could pan the camera and zoom into the fashion model. It proved to be and still is a valuable asset to JD’s in giving the customer a really versatile way of viewing outfit selections.
Within this time Freeform also was briefed on other projects that included email marketing campaigns, front page web design promotions and more importantly the UI & development for the customer account pages, product pages and checkout structures.
Acting as an external service and working alongside the Team at JD Williams many areas of Web Design and Development was covered. Along side the producing the creative front-end content Freeform was also working along side the UI team in conceptual work and implementation for the user interface for the checkout & account areas. The main focus for this was to increase the conversion rate during the checkout process. And indeed great results were accomplished increasing turnover ten-fold.
Our client wanted to push Dyson spare parts. With this in mind, Freeform Creative took competitor analysis and looked at the best possible solution to drive traffic to the site and to generate sales. The final product was 4YourDyson.co.uk which is now climbing the ladder and competing in an extremely competitive market.
We needed to develop and design an effective user interface that would allow the user of all ages to be able to navigate the site with ease. Often we believe that less is more. Our web team adopted various methods to allow the customer to find their Dyson part almost instantly. The checkout process was also simplified to allow for an increase in sales and to lessen the orders that can often be abandoned.
